My name is Monika Kuss. I am an ABC (Animal Behavior College) Certified Dog Trainer and an Associate Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). I am also a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). I have been training dogs for many years, have my own business and train in a secure area just 15 Minutes from LSU in Baton Rouge.
I teach beginner and advanced classes and individual training is also possible. To guarantee personal care, the maximum size of each class will be 10 dogs.
You will learn to teach your dog COME, SIT, DOWN, STAY, LOOSE LEASH WALKING, HEEL and many more things. We will use positive training techniques, and have fun with tricks, jumps and a tunnel. All ages and breeds are welcome!
Because most problem behavior in dogs are a direct result of a wrong or no leadership, I will teach you to be a assertive, calm, and fair leader.
Imagine your life with your dog is a long dance. Both have to learn their steps, but one has to lead the dance. A good leader can direct the other one in any direction he wants to. In a dogs mind, there are only leaders and followers. If you learn to lead the dance through your dogs life, you will have a happy dog, who feels save and secure and loves to follow.
